I can't believe it's been nearly two years since the formation of our riding club. Months of work to design logos, patches, writing our bylaws and articles of incorporation and establishing the corporation and getting approval from the IRS and the great State of Texas to be recognized as a public charity. It seems like such a short time ago and an eternity all at the same time.
Keepers of the 2nd's mantra is "Serving Those Who Served!" What does this statement mean? Put simply it means to give back to the brave few who have done what many have not, served our country and our community. We as a group of Veterans and Patriots want to extend our gratitude and appreciation for fellow veterans, law enforcement, and first responders. Thank you for your service! Many clubs historically have been formed by veterans who after serving for so long, missed the sense of belonging and camaraderie. K2A is a club where like-minded people of faith and belief that we are all one can come together, ride for enjoyment, create a sense of identity, and as a collective, affect change in the lives of a few deserving American heroes. Giving and serving is most notably phrased by Jim Rohn - "He who serves the most reaps the most." We extend an open invitation to all who seek a riding club and share in our love for God and Country! -Doc |
